Tank vent recall/ flashes for 06 questions

Taking my truck in tomorrow to do the following:

tank vent recall
High idle enabled
Latest flash

My question is...should I have the recall performed, and should I get the flash done? I've seen posts on the forum about the tank vent recall but unclear if this is something I should do myself, or allow the dealer to do?

On the flash, my goal is to get better gas mileage and hopefully get the transmisson shifting a little smoother. Any had an experience with the latest flash for the 06? Should I even mess with it?

Thanks in advance!

I had the flash done because I kept getting codes for temp irrationality when using my block heater.

My idle went up a little higher, my fuel mileage went up 1-1.5mpg, make sure you bring all your keys, they'll have to reprogram them.

I have yet to let them flash mine as I have not had any codes and I get good fuel mileage. I worry if they do flash it I lose mpg like I've heard of happening to a few others. But then they should of taken care of all those problems by now, but I still think if its not broken leave it alone.
