i have tryed everything i can think off.. i have a 2004 dodge ram and after replacing the tranny it will only run for 5 min then it shuts its self off.. cycle the key off for 5 sec then back on and the truck will fire agian..

Check for codes. Do this by cycling the key to off then on 3 times. Look in the mileage window and read the codes that it shows or DONE which means you have none. Post the codes on here.

P2509 Ecm/pcm Power Input Signal Intermittent

P0088 Fuel Rail Pressure Signal Is Above Max Limit

P0882 Trans 12 Volt Supply Relay Control Circuit Too Low


Those are the codes. Hopefully somebody can help you work through the problem (s).

 

Did you check for pinched or cut wires on or around the tranny.
