If there was a recall on your truck, and you don't think it was ever taken care of, you should call your local Dodge dealer.Have your vin number handy, and they will tell you what recalls were on the truck, and if they have been done.

Recalls are forever your Dodge ******* can do a computer printout of every recall done to your truck and tell you if its been completed or waiting to be completed...besure to update the owner info if your not the owner on the recorders

A TBS is a repair which is differant then a Recall

Re:Inj. pump recall

The injection pump recall you're referring to is one that corrects a possible runaway problem. There is a check ball or valve in the pump that could fail and you will experience WOT condition unexpectedly..... NOT good

Bob.

Re:Inj. pump recall

Thanks for the info guys, guess I better get in contact with the *******. Seems to me I moved from Seattle to Bakersfield around that time. Of course, I've been to the ******* a couple of times and they have never said anything about any fuel inj problem or recall.

JJ

Re:Inj. pump recall

I guess I'd better contact my ******* as well!!! But then again, would a guy be better off going to a Cummins outlet? I'm sure they know a lot more about what they're doing than the *******... So far the truck has over 300000 Km and no runaway yet.

The Safety Recall notice that I received reads as follows
"To determine if your vehicle is affected the fuel injection pump must be inspected first. If replacement is necessary, it will take about four hours to complete and you will not be charged for this service. ect." This work is done by the Chrysler Dealer and not Cummins.
---
Al
