'93 4wd power steering issue in winter
When it is cold...(which is basically about 5 months of the year here in Salt Lake) . The power steering on my 93 4x4 takes forever to warm up. And it is awfully hard to drive without it. (Unless you are going to be going in a straight line for about 15 or 20 miles).
I'm sure this issue is probably common to some other of you good folks and maybe you know something I don't.
Is there a winter additive I can add to the power steering fluid?
Can I completely remove the fluid and add some other kind of thinner "made for very cold" fluid????
Any ideas I would really appreciate it. It's really starting to annoy me.
Do I need to replace my power steering????
Thanx,
Clay
