I made my own gasket for my turbo drain, so I can't say yes or no to the instant gasket. There is a cover with two bolts in it right above the transmission cooler on the passenger side of the bell housing adapter. Look right below the turbo and you will find this cover. this is where you install the torque converter bolts through. Just turn the engine over and the bolts will line up with the hole.

The output side of the oil ports on the turbo is not under much pressure, so you could probably get away with it, but a gasket would be recommended.

I would use a real gasket there. If you don't have time, use a very thin bead, you don't want chunks of RTV floating in the oil.

So, can i use instant gasket on the oil tube to the turbo? also, any advice on how to get the torque converter bolts back in?
thanks.
There is a little cover on the right side of the engine (pilots point of view) that is about 2" oval shaped remove it and have somebody turn the crank while you use an extension and socket to install bolts... once you get started it goes really quick, I Just put a suncoast T/C in my 91.5 last week so still pretty fresh, however i still need to put the cover back on was to ready to see how she ran after the T/C

Exactly. If you do decide to go the sillycone route, make sure you tighten the bolts only finget tight and wait at least overnight before tightening to aviod squeezing out the excess. It'll seal better that way too.
