91 250
my buddy just purchased a 91 250 single cab and he asked me to help him out with doing a few things to it. I have done some searches and found a few things but i thought it would be easier to just ask it all in this thread.
for starters, i noticed that the back end sits lower than the front end. Is this common or do we have some problems? Also the tires and wheels have got to go. What are some recommendations for decent, cheap wheels to put on this and what is the biggest tire that will clear without a lift?
As far as mods go, we dont want to spend alot but i plan to put a donaldson muffler underneath and leave the rest of the system stock for now. As far as Afe goes, anyone make a good kit to run a big filter? What are some good inexpensive mods to pep this motor? Im sure eventually we will get into boxes and what not but just looking to get a few cheap things done now. Thanks for any help

Hi!
Sounds like the rear springs are tired, which is normal.
Take a look in the 1st gen FAQ, there's an article there about turning up the pump. Free HP is the best kind.
Nothing a box can do for a 12 valve. All mechanical, baby.
