I am pretty sure the drive shaft would need to be shortened.

Driveshaft shortened, but I'm told a 518 is a 727 with an OD bolted to it basically. He will have to formulate a way to kick in the OD. Either a toggle switch, or use gov pressure. Write up in the sticky.

you will need to swap front /rear shafts and a switch for the O/D .If i was doing it I would just put a 47rh in you only need a few more parts and you would have lock up
