518 in a 1990?
When my 727 gets tired, how is it installing a 518 with my existing 3.07 rear end having just taken apart a 91.5 donor? With the 727 I run 2050rpm at 60mph.
Very seldom do I run above 65mph. Would like to run about 1800rpm on the freeway at about 70mph. Any problem with the switch?

If you have all the pieces it wouldn't be too bad a job. If you want it to work "factory" you will have to swap in the baby PCM to run the OD. It should work OK with just the power, ground, VSS, and TPS inputs. Keep the old brain box on the firewall to run the WTS and WIF lights and the KSB.
