47rh swap questions
So I have the tranny, engine adapter plate, and all of that good stuff. Here's the problem that I ran into.
The tf727 that came stock in my truck has a fixed yoke output shaft (big nut holding the yoke on).
The 47rh that I have is the slip yoke output style (shaft slides onto the output shaft).
What all do I need to complete this swap? I'm guessing I'll need to redo the driveshafts? If I don't what other parts do I need?
If I do redo the driveshafts should I convert my 2 piece shaft with carrier bearing to a 1 piece shaft?
Thanks in advance!

I would think all you need is get the slip yoke for the 47rh and then maybe a combo u-joint if they are different... The length might mess you up a little since you already are moving the trans back.. So your rear shaft probably will be close on the length, may have to have it shortened...

Like DNRCustoms said, a slip yoke for the 47RH is what you'll need, you'll probably have to have your drive shaft cut and a new weld yoke welded on or you might be able to use a drive shaft out of a 2wd reg cab 2nd gen auto, you would have to check the length to be sure.
I don't know how it mounts to the crossmember, but you might have to make something or find the trans mount from a 1st gen 2wd truck that had an A518 in it. I know the 4wd 727 guys that go to an overdrive trans need to get the mount that bolts to the trans because its part of the tail piece on a 727.
