Looking at swapping out the auto tranny in my '93 for a 47RH for dragracing, and I'm wondering what kind of options we've got for transfer cases. Here are my questions:
1. Is the Hummer 242HD tcase passenger or driver side front output?
2. Can we take a 241LD passenger drop out of a late '80's Chevy and swap 241HD internals in? Not sure what all differences there are between the LD and HD versions of the case.
3. How fast have you run with 4wd engaged on your 205? Being an older gear-driven tcase, I wonder if vibes will be worse at high speeds?
4. Anyone know what the weight difference is between a 205 and a 241HD?
