Adjusting Idle
If your standing in the front of the truck, it's on the left side of the pump. Move the throttle by hand and you'll see where it's resting at idle. The adjustment is made from the rear of the pump though.

Not the best pic. This was taken from the rear of the pump.
You adjust the idle by loosening the 10 mm locknut and turning the screw with a small screwdriver. There's also a hole through the screw so you can use a dental pick or similar tool. The best tool for the locknut is a 10 mm combination wrench bent 90 degrees right at the box end. You come in from the front and use vise grips on the other end of the wrench. If you don't mind buggering the nut, you could use a hammer and punch instead.
I like my truck to idle at 800 RPM. If you have an auto it will probably creep if you set it that high. Dodge spec is 700 RPM for automatics, 750 for manuals, both with the A/C on.

Also the little mini craftsman type wrenches like these in the little plastic pouch work well. Included in some of the tool kits.

I just adjusted mine a week ago, and I found that I couldn't get a screwdriver on the end of adjustment screw due to a fueling pipe (of some sort) being right at the rear of it covering the slot. So I was able to slip a couple of 10mm nuts over the end, jam them together snug, then adjust the screw with a wrench. I did use the small CraftsBoy ignition wrenches mentioned above. I really didnt' have much trouble with the lock nut however. I suppose that gets more troublesome the more advanced you time your pump since it moves that whole mess closer to the head.
