The 400-500hp parts list

My goal (for now) is to reach about 450 hp. I've been researching parts and I have compiled a list.
Let me know if there is anything else I may need or should change

- ARP head studs
-aurora 4000 turbo
- Lucas prince of darkness 100hp injectors
-Denny t fuel pin and 366 spring
-Intercooler( can't decide which one yet)
- pyrometer, boost and fuel pressure gauges
- sun coast dual disc clutch

Thats really pushing the 12mmve you might would have to go to a 14mm pump or switch to a p pump. Guys have done it but not super easy

I would use a better injector than pods. At least a 5x16, or 5x18 to reach 450. If I remember right pods are only 4x14 or 4x15 not positive though.

Added proposed parts specs for ya.

I think you'll need more fuel and air.

we made an easy 407 horses with studs hx35 14 over an hx 55 with pods custom fuel pin and water meth on a stock clutch. after that we swapped to a P pump haven't Dynoed yet but the stock clutch let go on the first pull also when towing the radiator will not take 0ver 300 hp for more then a few miles on a long grade, water temps would clime to high (new Radiator)

Ok so maybe add water meth injection, I was thinking nitrous anyway. And trash the p.o.d's. I'll go for a set of 5x18's. But I still think a dual disc will hold. I won't be doing any heavy towing, just a camper trailer. It's more of a weekend beach cruiser.

Stand by on the a4000 until I can give a review on it. Based on what I've seen of mine it would support well into the 500s for hp on a ppump based on what it should flow BUT to actually to hit a nice hp number the turbo will need a waste gated housing or you will need to have an external waste gate.
This turbo likely wouldn't be a spool friendly turbo without an aftermarket cam like I have.
Also, I've read to stay away from nitrous with this turbo. The wheels have been known to come apart when used in conjunction with nitrous. Nitrous requires lots of waste gating anyway. W/m is a better choice.

My vote is a well made set of 5x.016 injectors.

I think I'm going to stick with the VE pump as long as I can, if diesel power can do it, why can't I?

He meant a lift pump to supply fuel to the VE pump. The stock one won't cut it.
