How can I get 400-500hp?

I have a 93 intercooled Cummins that is stock. I would like to know how to get 400-500 Hp.

Someone i know says he has a Marine Head and an inline injection pump that can be installed on my engine. Would this be the right direction or is there a better one?

Thanks
in advance.

14MM head and rotor with a set of custom 6X16 injectors and o-rings and studs for the head as well as twin turbos to keep it functioning. I would recommend an s300 over s400. And a big fuel supply to keep the volume there.

For 400 you wouldnt need all that. There are several people on here running 60-64mm inducer wheel single turbos, edm or similar injectors, and pulling that. With some W/M its real easy to edge over 400. Throw a Phat shaft 62 or 64 with some EDM 6x.013s or so on there with some WM and youll be in the middle there IMO.

There is no such thing as marine head or gasket either. The 370marine engine uses the same head and gasket as your truck. The inline pump is a P-7100 IP found on all 94-98 dodge cummins. It can flow alot more fuel than we can but your power is achievable with what you have. It just needs improved that's all.

True, 400 HP is a knee high hurdle where 500 is chest high.

I am new to the Cummins world, so I dont understand alot of the above. However, I am a quick learner.

Does anyone sell all this stuff as a kit ?

I built this M715 with a ZZ502/502 Chevy crate motor, edelbrock fuel injection, rockwells, 205, Th400 Etc...

I am wanting to build one with a Cummins now. Probably will use the 4l80e and NP205, dana 60 and 14 bolt.

400 HP or 500HP? Like I stated above small hurdle / expensive hurdle. And as far as the 400HP on a single charger, They aren't that fun to drive. They run too hot for my liking. I had a pretty large single on mine with 435's , no afc and big fuel and if you didn't let out of it the egt's would hit 15 somthing and even the coolant seemed to get hotter.

I am on the quest for 1000TQ on the ground and from what I have seen and wasted money on, twins is the only way I will enjoy driving my truck.

A ported head does wonders for EGT on these 12v's. The head is the biggest restriction. There are 12v's making 600whp with p pump and 2nd gen IC, and only running 1300* at the end of the track, using a well ported head. I dont see any reason a VE engine couldnt stay cool at 500whp with a large single, good IC, and ported head.

A good turbo choice would be 64/16cm wg. May be a little slow to spool but it will be big enough to flow alot of air.

Im running in near 470 hp with water/meth and my egts arnt too bad. If i lay on it for like 25-30 seconds WOT straight then i do have some problems with egts reaching in around 1400. But im only running a single turbo. Other than that the egts seem to be fine for me.

I ran 394 on #2 and 441 with W/M last August in Idaho. Hoping to hit 400 on #2 in May. I'm running one of Piers HX35 and DDIII+ injectors. I see a max of 1450 on the dyno for only about 10 seconds and less than 1000 running up Cabage Hill outside of Pendelton OR in 5th. I was trying to get my Stage III W/M controller to come on using egt's only but that was a no go - didn't get hot enough.
