Well, this has been a good Christmas. A while back I posted a tread about my drivers side rear tire tread peeling off while going around 65 mph. Yes, you guessed it. Sheet metal surrounding the wheel well all folded upwards toward the bed and also taking out my BM tranny cooler fan blades. I turned in a claim to the tire manufacturer because the DOT # on the tire was within the 6 year time frame from tire malfunctions happening. The claim was an estimate for a new 8' bed, tranny cooler, replacement tires, paint, etc.($4,600.00) and it was honored and I just recieved a check to make my truck brand new looking again. Life is good.

 

Woo Hoo. I'm glad to see that someone FINALLY made out with one of those warranties. I had a couple of friend that tried to get theirs warrantied and they had no luck at all, just a laugh and then "click". Congrats on the win.

 

It is nice when companies will own up to thier mistakes.

 

What brand was the tire ??
