4 air bags on first gen??
It is on my to do list (put air on the front, that is) but I have not done it yet.
There are a bunch of good threads here detailing how guys have put air bags on one end or the other, but I'm not sure if any of those guys have them on both ends.
Do a little searching around, there are some real nice examples here.

That is a mod that would definitely be worth the price and the effort! Just finished a 1200km trip in my 92 W250, I don't think there is an internal organ that hasn't been pulverized into submission!!!

I was wondering about that too and my guess is that you'd just need to replace the front coils with air springs and locate the shocks outside of the a-arms, but I don't know how to figure out the correct size of the bag, etc.
There is a guy in lehi ,ut that made one for a 2wd 84 with a big block he used a double bellow type in place of the coil the rest is factory i think i dont know if i can say the name of bussiness the do the mega cab long bed conversions
I am makimg my 2wd crew cab have air ride all around I put bags in the front where the spings used to be first I tryed with a 5 1/2" bag and it took like 90 psi to lift it up to ride hight with no motor of front sheet metal so I changed them for some 9" bags and its like 25 psi now I will take some picutres one of these days
I wish we could get enough members together for an "order". Find someone with good fab skills that has already engineered a good set of their own and would build sets if we could get a minimum number together. I'd love to have some on all four corners...
i already had the truck lifted when i did this, but the way it is set up i can lower the rear down about 8in or lift the bumper to about eye level, and the fuel tank, yes, it has been moved, i built an 80 gallon tank that sits in the front of the bed
