3200 RPM spring is in...now truck won't shut off
I just had the 3200 RPM spring installed at a local pump rebuilding shop and it definitely made a noticeable difference...gained 2-3 psi and it pulls alot harder but I also noticed the the EGT's go up very fast above 2500 RPM. When I got home I went to shut my truck off and it just kept running so I had to shut it down manually...is there something I can adjust to get it to shut off or do I have to install the pull cable?

you dont have to install the pull cable if you dont want to, many on here, including myself have just shaved the fuel shut off solenoid plunger down and it works fine.
here is this the link on how to fix it

Hey hammer_down. They might of bumped the wire off the fuel shut-off soleniod. Its the one at the back of the pump not on the side. Thats the ksb soleniod.
When i did mine last week i had to back out the fuel screw to bring egt's to were i was happy with it. It will still hit 1300 if i stay on it going up the malahat. I may still back it out more. I towed a small bout up the hat to cowichan last week end and never had to go full throttle anyway. Egt's with the boat were around a 1000 going up the hat and i was gaining speed. Since then ive backed out my star wheel 2 turns to stiffen the fuel pin spring because i felt it was full fueling to soon. Also backed out the smoke screw 1 turn. I lost a little pep at when gently getting up and going but if i roll onto the throttle im getting 29psi and can bearly keep the tires from spinning in the dry. they are chirping and with no or very little smoke.
I was wrong. Just check the manual and the solenoid need power to make the truck run.
