3200 ? again, sorry

What diff would I see with 4.10 gears in a 5-speed? I am pretty sure I already know, but I need to hear it again to justify it. How hard is it to put this tiny spring in>>> I have read the sticky, and it sounds fun. I have also heard that I "will" lose the tophat thingy... Make me make up my mind...

If you can find a helper for 5 minutes you will not lose any parts. A finger on the "top hat" will keep everything together until you can get the pump top out of the way and see what you're working on.

My trick for doing it yourself is to rotate the pump top 180 degrees, then flip it over so it's down next to the pump. Use your right hand to support the pump top while keeping your index finger on the top hat. Use your left hand to unhook/rehook the spring.

The 3200 spring makes an amazing difference in the throttle response. You will only need your big toe to drive.

I was actually a little disappointed with the driveability of the truck right after I bought it. Powerband seemed too narrow for the shift spacing, felt like it was running out of breath between gears. First (and nearly only) power/fuel mod I did was the 366 spring. Major improvement! I also turned the AFC cone while I was in there. Those two simple mods made this thing seem like a completely different truck. I could not be happier, and so far have not felt the need for any screw turning or anything else.

Sweet, thanks guys. For the $, I don't see how I can go wrong.
Ace, I love the look of your truck, very nice, about the twin to mine, except mine is red and white. Thanks again, Jeff
