315's and no lift?

I need tires and stopped by the local tire place and they had a used set of BFG all terrain 315's. 50-60% tread, $45 a piece. I think its a good deal, but Im not shure how much cutting I would have to do. I dont mind trimming the fenders, but dont want to look like a high school kid. lol.

Anyone done this?

Truck is a 90 250 4wd btw

Thanks
Dustin

my dorm mate just said those'd be about average size really. so little if no cutting according to that.

I had a set of 315's on my 93, I didn't do any fender trimming, but I did have to trim the plastic trim with a 2" skyjacker lift in the front.

Those are about 3" taller than the original stock tires (235/85R16). Do you have 8" rims? 315/75R16 should go on 8" rims.

i run 325/60/18s on 10'' racelines in the back for my street overdrive[!] they fit with tons of room. then i lowered the truck 2'' . still lots of room. 33.3'' i think.

stock rims. I know, but its what I have and I plan on selling the truck in the spring so i just need something to get me through the winter. I see some guys have ran them (using search) But my susp is REALLY beat down. I may go have them install them and see how bad it is. Id like to run the taller tire to to help with fuel milage, so I may just have to go have them mounted. Ive heard the BFGs run small, but I find that hard to believe because I have 35in KMs on my Jeep and they are a inch shorter then my dads 37in MTR's!
