No luck so far in finding one for our trucks through many searches and a couple phone calls around the country. Has anyone modified the second gen dash pod to fit ours, or any other modification that sits three gauges cleanly on the dash?

I just got this one mounted a couple weeks ago, and it just took some filing on the bottom to fit the contour of the dash, and it sits pretty cleanly. Obviously the more time you take filing the better it will fit.

That is exactly what I was looking for. Amazingly enough I even looked through glowshifts website right before I posted.

 

I got a generic flat-bottomed one from J.C.Whitney and it worked out good; on this one, the gauge faces are sort of angled toward the left, instead of facing straight forward like some I have seen.


I recently read in an old issue of the TDR magazine of re-shaping the 2nd Gen. ones from GENO's to fit.

 

I haven't checked recently but Glowshift's price on ebay was better than their web site price (particularly on shipping) when I bought from them a few months ago.

heres mine for a 3rd gen just a little sanding and fit perfect
