I'm sure this has been discussed before but I am having no luck finding it. Does the TPS determine when the shift from 3rd to 4th (OD) occurs at WOT? I took the slack out of my throttle cable and adjusted my low idle the other day and consequently needed to adjust the K-D cable. Easy enough. With hese adjustments made, I could not get the tranny to stay in OD at WOT. I flipped my TPS and used a cotter pin to keep it turned. Now the tranny goes in OD too quickly after the 2-3 shift. It pulls hard once in OD but I know it has to be hard on the OD so I want to get it right.
