You have any pics of the downpipe by the firewall and underneath? Is it a 4"? Which one is it?

What year is that turbo. The plate that is on the back, what yr. did that come off? I have an hx35/40 and my housing has the cast elbow, but doesn't have the option 4 a v-band clamp. Thanks!

I don't have any pic of it, but underneath the fire wall, there is plenty of room.........mine is a 3" system.

How close is the exit of the 2nd gen downpipe to the exit of the 1st genner? eg would my exhaust bolt up or would it have to be moved?

Reason im asking is a 1st gen 4" is pricey, but a 2nd gen downpipe is dirt cheap (in comparison). Would like to run a 2nd genner if i could.

To have the removable elbow with v band clamp it has to be a wastegated 94' to 98' turbo. my hx was from a 2001 so i had the solid cast elbow. i swapped my dad's 95' wastegate cover for mine. worked good.
Just thought i could share what i learned when i was installing my turbo.
