just wanting some info, got the 93 core support lined up, and want to get going on my intercooler swap! just havnt found a good 93 radiator for a CHEAP, or even decent price. so figure if i put the 90 radiator on the 93 core support, i can add the 93 radiator later, when i find a good deal on one.

Make sure its a diesel 91.5-93 core support and not the gasser core support. They are not the same.

Im sure you will see your EGTs go down. I installed an 03 Dodge aftercooler on my 92. It has all 3" piping now and the aftercooler is more than twice the size of my stock one. I cant install my condensor with this aftercooler even with a 92 grill. that 03 aftercooler is huge.

Yes, the powerstroke intercoolers are 3" inlet and outlet. What i did on my install was just hack up the core support with a plasma cutter. The ford IC JUST fit around the rad i had in my truck but it is a different rad then the stock ones....It should easily fit by a stock rad. These IC's are huge compared to stock IC's. I had to sacrafice my hood safety latch to make the project work. Maybe i'll put on some hood pins

Once you intercool a NON-IC engine you'll be VERY impressed with it.

Look at gallery for pics......

Greg, yes, the intercooler is yours, right now it's under my deck. It is still bent....i never did try straightening it. You wont me to try to straighten or do you wont it bent? PM me sometime

Hey sammy,
I had to remove my hood saftey catch too, however I relocated mine way to the drivers side. I would advise you to get that catch back on or pin it right away. that would be scarey to have that hood come up on the interstate
good luck

what he said ! with out a core support the grill will not fit with an intercooloer you can make it work with out tha intercooler but the head lights need to be moved up 1.25" and out .75 " and the turn signal lights need to be cut open bigger in the 89-90 core support.......ask me how i know

thanks every one. i am waiting to get the I/C in the mail, then will get started. my wife told me i better make the A/C work, other wise any time we go any wear we will have to take her car. she dosent like the florida summers.

So i will make it fit. i am lookin for a cheap 93 radiator now.

Sammy thanks for your input. your pics are what got me going on this, and i cant wait to get it together. it might be awhile now though. work, and a prego wife, not a lot of time for the truck projects. but i will keep people posted!
