1st Gen Tires

On the hunt for some new tires and wondering what everyone else might be running on, and if you like em

I have 285/75R16 BF Goodrich A/ts Now and don't want them anymore

thinking of going back to Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts (had 'em before and truck seemed to ride.

I run 37" Goodyear Wranglers because they are cheap. If i went something else it would be Toyo Open Country MTs. They have done good on my Tundra and people running them on their Diesel seem to like them.

I love my Mickey ATZ's. a Cross between mud/all terrain.

But I'm hearing the new Cooper Disoverer AT3 tires are pretty awesome, and they're affordable

Firestone Destination A/T here, I`ll buy another set when these are spent...very happy with them. Good wear, ride well, quiet, handle good (for a truck that is), balanced with very little weight and they all measured near perfect runout on our balancer at work (a Hunter GSP9700).

Like my hankook mud tires, even though I live in a dry state.

You're dumb if you don't run mtrs. 37" load e tire you can buy almost brand new for 100 bucks a piece. Aggressive tread, yet nice on the highway. Win win win win

AT3's are good tires. I put them on the wife's Yukon, my dad has a set on his 91 and the company I work for has them on a few trucks, and we all like them.

Best part is THEY ARE AMERICAN MADE!!

busa4mee - Where are you picking up those MTRs for $100?
There where a lot of almost new 37 inch hummer tires on CL around here for $75 a pop for a year or two.
I haven't seen the add in a bit.
I might stash a spare set of cheap MTR 37s for my white crew cab.

On my '01 tow rig I have been running a few sets of 285/75/16 Yokahama Geolanders AT/S for years.
They wear evenly, last pretty long, price is decent, and have a good tread pattern that I can run year round

There are military surplus outfits all over the US. Happens to be one an hour from me. Where are you located?
