I don't know how much that dirt weighed, but the empty trailer tows heavier than my small fifth wheel camper trailer when I towed it home with my '95.
I was having a little fun in the wet grass. I asked my son if he was jogging in place while taping or if the rumble of the mighty cummins was shaking the ground.
I definately won't be nicknaming him tripod.

hmm..pretty cool
But next time put it in 4x4 to begin with, then you will find all the dirt would come out then you wouldn't have to lift it twice!! Throw it in 4low and creep foward after you get the box up and life will be much better..

I like the RamCharger and that is sure a nice trailer.
Those trailers are handy, but the tail can quickly start wagging the dog, especially with a load of rock.
If you load them like they were a tandem dump-truck (and the bed will hold that much if you put it in there), things will soon start bending that shouldn't, like trailer tongues and truck frames.
Just a little safety note :
Please never ever ever never climb over a trailer tongue, ever, nor go between a gooseneck and the truck, never, as it is a good way to get killed.
It may be farther, but always walk around.
In my driving career, I have personally knocked down two different people that decided to dart between the gooseneck and truck as I was starting to move; neither was hurt any more than deflated ego and a few skinned places, but both could have just as easily been killed.

As for the safety advice. Thanks for that. Of course I stayed away from under the box when it was up and the only reason I hoped over the tongue is because the back of the trailer box was burried in the ground so I knew it could not roll and I was the only person near the truck so I knew nobody could try to move it. But you are right, I set a bad example
So to all you kiddies out there, don't do that at home. Heck, I was even ready to bolt away in case the load went haywire and it started to tip sideways or lift the back of the truck.
