1991 D350 Injection Pump

Hi all,
I've got a 1991 D350 w/intercooler that stopped running on the highway. I've checked the fuel to IP and the lift pump seems to be doing it's job. I've checked power at the solenoid and it's getting power and it clicks. I tried cracking the injector lines and I appear to be getting some fuel out of two. No luck getting anything out of the rest. I'm assuming I need a new IP. I'm curious if anybody knows of any common problems on one of these that might cause this ( ie worn shaft etc). Also if anybody has any good resource for a really good deal on a rebuilt one or to have this one rebuilt.
Thanks,
Mike

It may be your fuel shutoff solenoid. Sometimes the tip will fall apart and clog up fuel flow and not allow fuel to get to all the injectors. Experts will chime in but here's your shutoff solenoid in the pic.

Sweet. I'll check that solenoid and let you know what I find. Are they generally easy to come by? Any good sources for it? Thanks.

Won't have time to take it off and check it till this weekend, but I found this part for a good price.

Sure beats the price of the pump if that's the problem. Here's to hoping.

I couldn't wait till the weekend. I took the solenoid off last night and it seems to be working. I gave it power and ground and it activates and compresses in like it should. Just to try I took off the plunger part that goes into the pump and put the rest of the solenoid back in place. Still getting fuel to cyl 2, but not to any of the others. I guess it may just be time for an ip. It's actually a friend's truck and that's what he was thinking too. I was just hoping to save him some money.
