Ve Ag pump install on 1991.5 I/C truck?

Here is a pic of the two pumps side by side. You can see that the red pump is the ag pump and the black one is the junk one off my truck. The delivery valves are noticably different in length. So my question would be that I would just need to swap the valves from my junk pump to the ag pump right? Is it as simples as just takin the DV's out of my pump and screwing them into the ag pump? Also I would need to use a set of Intercooled injection lines right( since my truck is I/C).

I ran an industrial pump for a while. Just bolted it right on and ran it.

Any major differences in an ag pump? Any drivability changes?

I think they have a different governor setup from what I remember. Pretty sure they don't fuel as hard as a street pump.

I was happy with it. Soemthing about some of the ag governors that catually pull fuel out under higher RPM since they were more meant for steady state use rather than street use. It has to do with where the fulcrums are on the governor arm. I don't think there's a way to tell without pump disassembly. apparently not all off-road pumps had that style governor, but many did. I think mine ended up having it, but I was in a pinch for money so it was either that or no run at all. Anyone have the VE PDF handy? It somewhat details in in there, IIRC. one is a max/min governor and one is a ????? something something, can't remember, lol!

I'm pretty sure our governors are variable. I know volkswagon used min/max governors and its a different looking setup all together.

I will get the numbers off the pump after work today and post them up, The pump was off of a tractor or somethin like that cant remember what he said(a pice of equipment) yes it was a 5.9l engine. When I took the pump tops off the ag pump it looked just like the one that came off my truck, inside the pump.
