Ya I started mine this morning and it started right up I gave it a little gas and it died first time in two days. Had to hold it to the floor to get it started took two times. Thought I had cured this problem with the AFC housing. Hope when I put this on tonight I have no more starting problems.

Question should I check fuel pressure first and then again after?

Thanks

If you check it before and the pressure is 17-22 psi at idle and 25-35 at 2500 rpm no load there is no reason to replace the valve.

Didn't get to do it last night but when I was backing in the driveway the truck sounded like it was trying to die and loading up on fuel. I had to stop and run it up too 2000rpms to level it out. So Im guessing that mine is bad.

Last I heard Cummins wanted $74 for the valve, Dodge over $100.
The ebay valve is exactly the same as the Cummins valve.

Ok could not get my fuel pressure gauge on the the truck didn't have the right fitting in my $400 fuel pressure test kit. But when I got the old valve out the little spring was broke on the inside? I don't think I broke it put the new bosch valve in truck sound and drives better. Im sure with 235,000 on it it needed a new one. Also the truck started real smoth this morning and ideled perfect.

Thanks again for the info.

I too ordered mine, I checked my fuel pressure and it was sitting at 15 at idle and increases to 20 with a little throttle. When I pinched the return line, it instantly shot up to 60 psi so I think the overflow is my only fuel problem. When I dropped by my local cummins dealership, one of the mechanics gave me a banjo bolt to put on the filter housing on the outlet side that is threaded for 1/8 npt so I simply put a needle valve on it and hooked my guage up to it!
