Cummins is used to hearing about high mileage engines. I have personnally met three million mile owners (all were 12valves). I'll be there in about 3 years.

I only have 700000 miles on my 90 and it runs as good as new still .
seen 1 24V 6spd with 999999 on it same engine .

 

i love seeing this stuff. that truck looks like its still in good shape and not all beat up, thats pretty good...

 

I wish I could get my truck to that many miles, I would defiantly buy it. Great to see high mileage 12v's

 

my 96 12v 4x4 5sp has been the most reliable truck ever... much less problems than my old 97 12v, which had all sorts of issues with power steering pump.

both are pretty much trouble free for the cummins ...
purchased 96 with 67k miles... got 84k miles now ...all I've done is change out a fuel filter ... this is not counting killing the KDP within hours of buying.

purchased 97 12v with 92k miles... never stopped working on it ... constantly working on something... mostly minor. sold it with 125k miles... the guy that bought it had a big grin.... that was a good truck!

sure hope my 96 12v is still with me at the million mile mark
the only reason my 97 was sold is I wanted a 5sp... was looking for a donor truck when my urber low mileage 96 12v popped up for sale
