What is the extra bolt for next to my turbo oil line?

What is the extra bolt for next to my turbo oil line?
Looks like another line could be run?

On top of where the oil filter screws in there is a bolt in a threaded hole to the left of the turbo line...

What is it used for?

Just extra ports for different applications of the CTD.

This motor is used in everything from boats, to irrigation pumps, to straight trucks.

Many folks use the extra oil port for a bypass oil filter or to run a mechanical oil pressure gauge.

Thats the supply line for your other turbo.

Cummins KNEW these things were supposed to have two turbos!
