Question valve guide seal? update on this? Keep them down?

I was searching and found that the seal can float up the stem. I am wondering if there is a update for this so this does not happen?

also I came across this..... I wonder if anyone did this?

I couldnt even get the oem style replacements on without damage. I have a wholesale connection, so I just went down to the warehouse and me and a friend started searching. We looked up the replacements, and looked at a few others, then ended up in the warehouse on the ladders, with dial calipers in hand.

I found some that look good. I dont have the part number but I could get it. They fit the guide boss alittle tighter.

They look similar to the red ones pictured in the link, but I have no idea if they are the same major and minor sizes.

I made a call, to see what it was I bought.

I bought a viton seal that is, .315 (8mm) x .530

They have 21000 of them and they are about $1.00 each.

I think the oem is around .550 or .570 on the guide.
