Pro Flowers dot com - keep an eye on them

I ordered 4 arrangements, for my mom, wife, sister and a friend

here's how the price for each $19.99 arrangement came out:
$37.96
$40.90
$50.61
$40.90

total $170.37 for 4 $19 flowers.

heres what was added:

2.99 handling
4.99 friday delivery
9.99 regular delivery
2.94 tax

that's crazy.

the $50 one was where I added a box of chocolates, that lady has kids, so that is....what it is.

be careful out there.

my buddy told me today, that add some revolving "club" onto your credit card, and charge you every month. i saw something like that on thier site,
but i did not do that. i hope...

Man, I am so lucky!

My wife doesn't particularly care for flowers, She thinks they are nice an pretty and all, but hates to spend the money on something that doesnt last. A thoughtful card and cooking supper is all I have to do!

Yeah, after they got thru adding charges I canceled my order. 20 buck soon added up to $40.00. I ordered my Mom 12 Roses one holiday......she received 9. I was told flowers were more expensive in Austin than they were in El Paso.

I also was going to order flowers for valentines day. But the order would have come to $85. They also was going to charge for guarantee to be delivered on valentines day. DUH hello that's what they were for and they wanted to get paid to make sure they got there.Just a big oh scam like everything else. Be causcious if your going to use them. As for me they'll never see any of my money.

I paid a pile of money for flowers for my wife on our first married valentines day and even though I paid for GUARANTEED delivery in the morning on Friday, they didn't arrive until Saturday morning when no one was at her office... I got a nice refund but I'll never use Pro-Flowers again... gonna use the locals from now on.

I never had an issue when I used FTD though...

easier to google a florist near your loved ones and send it direct, they will charge an amount for a telephone order. tell them you are on business. they will charge you more should you say you are in the military- go figure.
