Ihave a 97 with a 5 speed. i recently lost 5th gear. I am going to do a quick fix until i can put away the money to change the shaft. my question is who makes the best replacement shaft>
everbody says theirs is best. some are full splined some are press fit. i was leading toward the standard but i read that because of the rings they use it doent hold the gear tight enough and the gear wares.

so what to do????

yes these are two of the options i have found. Piers also sells them. From the vendor theirs is always the best. What i am hoping for is to find out if antone has seen any problems with these fixes.
