Trans Problem
My brother has a 98 12v auto 220,000 miles.
Supposedly the PO had put in a heavier torque converter and new valve body at 160,000 miles.
Problem is that when the truck is up to operating temperature and has been driven, and then he shuts it off for say 5 minutes and then starts it back up and places it in gear nothing happens. It wont move in any gear, he puts it back into P and then try's it again it will work. He's had this happen four or five times now.
Transmission has fresh fluid, and is at correct level. When the truck is cold it never has any problems, only does it after warmed up and driven.
Anyone have any ideas???
