Its finally time to undertake the swap of my trucks life! I'm gettin rid of the tired 47rh and replacing it with a rebuilt 5 speed. If anybody has a parts list or full step by step instructions for this swap that would be great. I think I know what all the parts I'll need are, but I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Also any particular clutches you guys like?

My suggestion for parts is to find a donor truck. It will make your project go smoothly and of course, less headaches.

I located a donor truck in the wrecking yard and had every part I needed to convert from the automatic to a NV4500.
