tranny problems

tranny problems

ok so my trany wont shift out of first gear unless i let off the pedal so i am going to change the pressure governor sensor but i cant find one around here so can anyone tell me where to get one or the part number for one thanks

whats the info on your truck? im presuming you have at least a 96 or newer. and have you done the primary checks of fluid level and condition?

Its a 2000 and yes I have put a new filter checked the cables and ajusted the bands

I've had good luck with wittrans.com (if that's not the actual site its "whatever it takes transmission), they seem to have good prices and can get you just about anything you need. Good service staff too, they helped me sort out which VB I needed and what I should do to make it work right. Good luck.
