Tranny makes grinding/clanking noise....getting worse
Just a few days ago my 95 standard diesel began to make more noise than usual in the transmission. In first, second, and then overdrive the transmission makes a bad sort of grinding noise as if a gear is spinning and slightly hitting something. Third gear makes absolutely no noise. it has been getting progressively worse. Any idea what the problem could be?
