I changed the thermostat on my 94 12v the other day but noticed the little bypass hose that runs from the thermostat housing to the head is seeping a bit of antifreeze . Can I plug that off or not? Does it have to be there and what does it do? It will take a while to order a new one.....

 

That's the bypass, don't block it off.
Someone here said last week that Napa has the hose.

 

Or you can just use a good 3/16 efi fuel hose.they are pressure and temp rated.I have seen them out live the truck
