Since buying my 1997 2500 4x4 I have done what I thought it needed. New hoses, belt , fuel filter, air filter etc. Reading this forum has helped me and saved money. Yesterday I changed overflow valve, pre filter and fuel filter (not really needed but did it anyway) and it made a LOT of difference in throttle response. Now if I hit the pedal in dirt or on grass it spins the tires so quick I have to back off / on the road the pedal that gave me 60 MPH is now 70MPH. THANKS to you guys for sharing your knowledge.
How I need to adjust idle and want to know is 750 on the dash tach good or is it trial and error.
