ok one more thing on top my other question is he said a while ago the tranny poped out of overdrive a while ago but it stopped and hasnt done it again so im not sure if thats a problem or just a once a time thing

 

When I bought my 97', it had an oil leak also. The salesman told me it was the crank seal so I didn't worry about it. When it warmed up I went to replace it, it was the KDP had cracked my housing. I ended up have a guy come in and Tig weld the crack but it still has a small leak. As for the overdrive issue I do not know. Good Luck

It would leak a couple of puddles underneath. Parked overnight it might have been 2 puddles a little bigger than a quarter. Sorry I am no help on the tranny. But the leak kept getting worse.
