Help 93 Dodge stalling, now it won't start!!
I started my truck up this morning with no problems. It was a little cold for texas(30 degrees). Well I only got about 200 feet and my truck died as I was shifting to 3rd gear. I started it and it immediately died. I checked the oil, it was a little low, I walked to auto-parts shop got the heavy duty della brand oil. It started up ok, I let it run for about 10min to get warmed up. I thought and hoped problem was solved but was taking it to a mechanic shop. As I was shifting to 4th gear I could feel the engine lose power and then regain, so I shifted down to third. At about the point I should shift to 4th the engine stalled and died. I checked the engine, didnt' see anything blatantly obvious. It started...I let it run a bit, I hit the parking break release and the engine died immediately. It never started again. I did notice even as I was driving the oil pressure gauge didn't go much above the idle position. I have about 200k miles on my truck. We do regular maintenance. If anyone has any ideas please help me out. Thanks.

Below freezing, could be moisture in the fuel system, causing a freeze up, then lines warming up after the engine has sit.

After I had let it idle for about 5min the engine should have been somewhat warm. It still ended up stalling. My dad thinks it might be electrical, we have had some electrical problems before.

Check your connections at the fuel shutoff solenoid. This is located on the backside of the pump (injection pump) you will see 2 spade terminals going into the top of the round solenoid. The terminals are bad about causing an intermittent problem. I replaced my terminals with the eylet type.

Sounds to me like starving for fuel. I'd check the fuel filter and the fuel pump. Also, as above, the connections at the shut off valve.
30 deg. F ... the fuel is NOT gelling and not likely moisture in fuel freezing.
Good luck.
