Set timing to 16 degrees?
Re:Set timing to 16 degrees?
Mach1, I'm just a dumb GM guy, learning to be a dumb dodge guy ;D. This is the 12 valve forum. I did a search also and could not find anything under search word "timing". Perhaps a little help??
The easiest is to rotate the engine until the timing pin can be pushed in place. Check out dodgeram.org and they will have the info also. Good luck, Kevin

Re:Set timing to 16 degrees?
I have been running 22* for about two years now with no problems. Its a daily driver/cattle hauler/pull truck. It has the .020 gasket but no rings. I haven't driven it but twice since I built twins for it about two months ago because the head is broke on every exhaust bolt hole flange. By the way, anybody got a head for a 97'? The gasket still didn't blow with 62 psi. Luck I guess. SS
