Rough idle......now it wont start

The truck started idling really rough a while back, had to keep my foot on the pedal at low speeds to keep it from dieing. Now it won't start at all. I replaced the fuel filter yet still no go. Tried pressuring up the tank and still nothing. Pumped the primer at least a couple of hundred times.....nada.
Doesn't seem to be any fuel leaks at the engine compartment.
I would think pressuring the tank would show any leaks on the lines at the fuel tank but they're dry as well.

Bad lift pump?

Make sure the shutdown solenoid is lifting all the way and is turning the shaft on the pump.
Sometimes the woodfuff key will fall out and the linkage just spins on the shaft.

Ok I know for sure that it's pulling all the way up. Didn't think about checking the shaft.

I assume that these lift pumps can be purchased at a Cummins dealer?

even cheaper to rig up a fuel pressure gauge so you don't throw needless parts at it.
