Real sensitive throttle after trans install. Any ideas

I know that my 4k gsk would be somewhat sensitive but this is almost annoying. I wasn't like that before the new trans. I've had the 4k gsk for at least 6 months. Any ideas on what I could do to fix it?

Might not have anything to do with the new tranny but sounds like one or both or your throttle return springs may have come off or broke.

maybe your TV cable needs to be loostened up a tad. it may be pulling your throttle a tad

Still way too sensitive. I'm gonna replace the return springs, where can I get them?

From Dodgeram.org

Foot pedal (throttle) tends to bounce resulting in bucking or jerking.
1994-96: engines add a spring (part no 3933130) inside the existing injector pump throttle return spring.
1997 engines replace the spring closest to the drivers side fender with part number 393131.
96-98 engines TSB 18-29-97A replace throttle lever assembly (also, see below )

alright, i read this about 8 hrs ago. i have been dealing with a super sensitve throttle for about a year now. I always thought i needed to adjust my gsk somemore, and i still might. but i will say i went down to my local auto parts store and bought the "help" variety of carb return springs and added one to the outside return spring on my pump. the ABSOLUTE best $5 i have ever spent. those of you with this problem give it a shot its easy and cheap

Finally replaced both stock springs and all was is well. The old ones just didn't have as much tension as the new ones.
