sensitive/touchy throttle

Past couple of days, i have noticed that my trucks throttle response is very sensitive and touchy and is making the truck very torquey under minimal throttle input and is a bit nerve racking drivng on wintery roads. I did a quick search and have not come up with anything yet. I am going to search some and see if i can come up with anything. I am thinking that maybe my APPS needs to be reset. Anyone else have any similar symptoms? Thanks

Very same thing with my 01 6spd. Reset my apps first with no result. Bought timbo1's apps sensor and installed it last night and its like a new truck! Everything from idle, acceleration, and shifting smoothness is better. I didn't plug the truck in last night to test it out, always acted up worse the colder it was, and it ran flawless this morning and all day.

Thanks for the reply. So before you put timbos Apps in, you had a very sensitve/touchy throttle as i described? Im thinking about ordering one, just want to make sure that the apps maybe not working properly.

Ya look up the reset procedure on here and try it first before you speend the money. I could not be any happier with the new apps though. Today my truck was parked in 40 mph wind and 18* temp. for 8 hours. With the old apps, my truck would have been so touchy it would almost be hard to drive. It would litterally sound like I didn't know how to drive a standard transmission truck. I was amazed how smooth it ran. Never surged or got touchy at all. I love it. Honestly can say its the best $160 I have ever spent on the truck to date.
