I would keep it under 36 psi.
Any higher and you start pumping hot air and risk over speeding the turbo possibly grenading it.

I agree

stock HX 35 is engineered to produce max of 35 PSI.. Anything more is just hot air and is actually hurting you more than helping you.. Cool air makes HP, hot air just limits what u already have even more by making you back off the throttle...

OH yeah, if the tranny is stock, ur riskin damaging it with that sorta hot rodding, just keep it level or to a minimum....

they are both right, down here at sea level my turbo can make 45 pounds of boost if i want it to, but just because you can, doesn't mean you should. that's always a problem when you start to bomb you truck, you become addicted. you spend days in the dog house because you spend so much money on your truck and your wife doesn't find out, until it's too late. they still need bca meetings, bombing cummins anonymous.

Marine4Life, I agree about the BCA! Heck I've just started and I am so addicted its pitiful . I practically had a panic attack trying to explain to my wife why I just ordered a $500 5" exhaust system, to replace my perfectly good current one . She just don't understand ! Now while she watches TV in the evening I am surfing truck mod forums. She's always yelling at me to "get off , and don't order anything else for that truck !" Help !

$125 at PDR, installation is fairly simple and it will make the truck feel totaly different. It's one of the best bangs for the buck.(IMO)
