I wonder why Dodge / Cummins did not make this a recall issue ?

Cost and liability...They would have to back pay all customers who had paid for the work already....just like they would have to for the 98.5 to 04 lift pump change up if it was a recall. Big bucks !! They new that 99% of the dowel pins wouldnt come out until well after warranty was done....also 53 blocks ! Just my opinion eh.

Even though a KDP failure may harm your wallet it won't harm your health.

If a group got together and filed a class action lawsuit they would fix it and pay those of us that did it ourselves.
When one car manufacturer used sub-standard steel in its body panels and they rusted out the suit brought against the maker forced them to stand up to
(or behind) their product.

Its not about getting rich off of cummins. Its about what is right. Fix the problem. Pay for repair.
