Problem Hookin up gauges

Problem Hookin up gauges

I got my gauges in finally, and when i went to install the boost gauge, i ran into a problem i dont have a T connector thingy, if i unhook the line from the AFC it dont run right (with boost gauge hooked up) but when put in the AFC runs fine (no boost gauge). do i need to buy a T thing or what ?

The boost gauge usually connects into the air intake manifold. On the stock manifold there are 2 plugs - one to the front near the fuel pump that you remove and install the fitting for the boost gauge. You have the Banks system and I do not know where you hook into that for the boost gauge.

go here..the t fitting thing didnt really work for me.. you will see the other end of the line that runs to the afc is connected to the intake man.....it is used so there will be another one just like it more toward the front of the truck that is not used just plugged...go to napa and get the fitting to go in there 1/8........that waht i did i just took the line to make sure the ferrule and line fit right..

You can either do something like the picture just above or buy a boost bolt from any vendor. You just remove one of the bolts in your intake manifold and put it in there.
