Power increase with stock plate and starwheel
Re:Power increase with stock plate and starwheel
If you are talking about Me. yes I have had problems with the gov kit springs not letting my truck idle or run at a steady speed. I don't know what the problems are but I hope to find out.

When you slide the stock plate as long as it is straight when you tightenit down you should not have any problems with it.
DM01

Hvanflee, the 210 horse industrial is pretty much the same as the 215 horse 12 valve with the P pump. The major differences you will find is that your stock exhaust manifold on the 210 horse mounts a older style turbo (pretty much as what was on the stock first generation engine) back such that it is a four to the front and two to the rear feed to the exhaust turbine, and the injection pump is not a P pump but a heavier industrial version that can be tuned the same as a P pump.

The best solution to lose the heat is to get rid of the 210 horse exhaust manifold and use an ATS unit with a turbo like found on the current 12 valve trucks. With that engine I would recommend a #4 RV plate from Piers and their HX40 turbo. It will pull you a solid 310 horses. It also would not hurt to get some hand lapped and honed injectors to get a finer spray, and that will cut EGT and boost power.
