Plate?
I was wandering where to do a search for a #100 plate. I tried here and it wont let me. I tried a yahoo search and nothing. I have got my plate gound flate and slid forward. Although the truck already had tons of power it was turned up at a shop before i bought it but it seemed as the plate had not been messed with. Anyway i am more than happy with my power but my egt's are way to hot. I dont have the $$ right now for a turbo so any ideas on cooling it down and grinding that plate would be great. I am building about 45psi boost although i try not to ever do that cause it is the stock turbo. Anyway any idea's

dotn mean to be sarcastic but if ur runnin wayyy hot then its time to slide the plate back...and grinding it down further will only make egts worse....that gutted afc isnt helping ur egt situation...ur basically getting red hot before u even get any air in there....the flat plate is killing it even more cause ur fuel doesnt come on gradually it just gets dumped at once....i dunno how to help with egtes except start wityh a bigger turbo housing and then get a bigger turbo and watch that right foot and pyro like a hawk
ps a 100 plate looks like a the letter "J"...just reversed....has a tip on the bottom and gradually straightend out end never defuels at the top...that could definitely help u more than the flat plate you're running
