I was coming out of a driveway, and suddenly my oil pressure gauge dropped to zero and the "check gauges" light came on {98' 12 valve}, but then came back up super fast, but no change in Engine sound as if the oil pressure actually dropped.I recall that there was a TSB perhaps on reflashing the PCM's from this year to stop the gauge from doing this or fluctuating?Thanks

 

I started a thread on this a while back. We have replaced one in our 98 12V and one in our 99 24V. If I'm not mistaken it was $47.00 for the 98 and $222 for the 99. hope this helps. Cin

Check your oil. Possibly low, will cause that too. Pressure sensor is a common problem.

 

Anybody have a picture of where the sending unit goes on the engine>
